I understand what ICT means. As a person who always uses the internet, I should understand what are the benefits and disadvantages of using the internet. In this lesson, I learned many things about ICT such as its purpose. Knowing this thing makes our daily lives easier, like Enhanced the modes of communication, can easily spread awareness through social media, and you can minimize your cost and save your time.

I realized that there are also consequences when using ICT. As a user myself, I know that I should be responsible for my actions while using the internet. Before this lesson, I didn't even know that I'm using ICT every day.

I understand that there are many things on the internet, and not all of them are safe. Our subject, Technology Empowerment, helps us perceived a better understanding of the internet. During week 2, our teacher taught us the different kinds of malware and the difference between copyright and licensing. Our teacher asked us two questions about the copyright, and this activity helps me have a better understanding of the lesson. He also asked us to make a campaign ad about online safety that makes people aware that many internet situations may harm them.

I realized during our week two lessons that we must always take precautions when using the internet. Even simple tasks like clicking the links and downloading apps can cause harm to you and your computer. We also that even if we are on the internet, we cannot steal. Copyright Infringement is a big thing, and we must not take them lightly. I understood that we should download the antivirus app and only download it from reliable sources. We must also always credit the original creators and stop stealing their hard-work from them.
